Hello Sunshine!

Happy Spring!!

The temperatures are finally above freezing and we couldn't be any happier...the sun was shining and it's been 70 for the past 2 days! Today it's raining and we're supposed to get a snowy mix overnight but that's okay because I got to wear my flip flops for two days!!

Firsts

It's been a week of firsts with Anna...beginning with her first mohawk! This is how Anna looked when she woke from her nap. She somehow slept in a way to give herself a very nice mohawk! I admit we have tried to brush her hair this way before but it has never looked as good as this!

Anna's first time in the high chair! This week was Anna's first introduction to solid food....well as solid as rice cereal can be! The experience went well (for both Anna and her parents!)...watch out stage 1 foods here we come! Bring on the pureed sweet potatoes!

Hooked on Phonics

Anna is not just another pretty face....

though it is a pretty cute face.....

She can read too!

Well, maybe she's not reading the words but the pictures sure are fun!

And she can turn the pages all by herself!

Auntie Lyn came to Nashville for a visit this weekend...she has seen Anna every month since she was born! You can tell by Anna's face how much she enjoys those visits too!
