Yesterday was a holiday so we took advantage of the blue skies and headed to the lake for a picnic. Anna loves picnics...but when we got into the car she burst into tears and kept saying, "I wanna go on a picnic! Picnic in backyard!" She thought we were having a backyard picnic....needless to say she was very happy when we got to our destination for our lake picnic!
It really was a beautiful day to be outside....we admired the skyline...

And waited patiently for enough wind to fly our kite!

Anna really is just like her Daddy....from loving winter to wanting to climb rocks!
Her favorite part of the picnic (other than her ice cream treat) was probably climbing the rocks with Daddy
