Spring Break 2015

Two weeks of spring break has come and gone in the blink of an eye! Every day was a new adventure from camps (for 2 days both girls were in a camp at the same place at the same time! Happy Mommy....), play dates, the aquarium, road trips, and some unbelievable sunny weather!

Afternoons were often spent racing in the sun...

We spent a fun filled morning at the aquarium...

Last year when I took the girls to the aquarium Matilda kept saying WOW! over and over again to the fish...this year she kept introducing herself!

We also took a road trip up the BC Coast in search of some adventure and some amazing views...

I heart Art Camp

For the first week of spring break (we get 2 weeks here in Vancouver) Anna has been attending art camp. How much do I love these camps/programs run through the city? From ballet, to hip hop, to swimming to adventure camps...we've been trying out many of the offerings and they have all been fantastic! Below is what Anna made this week in art camp.....

The 100th Day

 Yesterday Anna celebrated her 100th day of Kindergarten!

It's a penguin party!

Anna's class has spent the past couple of months learning a unit on penguins. And wow has she ever enjoyed it! They not only learned about penguins but the different kinds of penguins, their lifestyle and habitats. Show Anna a picture of a penguin and she'll tell you if it's a rockhopper, an emperor, a little blue or even a macaroni penguin!

Heart Day!

 A belated Valentines Day post......Did we celebrate Valentine's Day? Yes. Did we decorate the house with hundreds of hearts? Yes. Did I remember to take photos and post them to this blog? Um...well...sort of.....

I did take a picture of the Valentine's Anna gave to all her classmates....

And we did take pictures of our heart themed food for Valentine's day!  Heart shaped french toast with strawberry hearts, a heart shaped pizza with heart shaped toppings, and a cherry pie with heart shaped cut outs!

It really was a happy heart day!
