A princess in training

Auntie Lyn came to visit this week and we got to help celebrate her birthday! First we had a yummy Hello Kitty Princess cake....

Then Anna helped Auntie Lyn open her present...Anna likes the bow and the princess crown the best

But our little princess hasn't quite figured out how to wear her crown properly!

But like all good princesses Anna wears her crown while pretending to drink her tea!

Every princess also needs a carriage...for Anna it's the classic Princess Cozy Coupe! Or as Alastair calls it, "Her own little Flintstones's car!". I'm proud to say my sister and I put it together ourselves...it only took us an hour and a half to do what the guy in the video instuctions did in 10 minutes.

 Vroom Vroom!

Anna loves fruit...this week her favorite is strawberries but  last week it was raspberries - especially when she realized the raspberries fit perfectly on the tips of her fingers!

Welcome Spring!!!

Today is the first official day of spring! Good bye cold weather, big coats and snow - Hello flip flops, sunny days, and backyard BBQ's! While it's still possible we could have a few random days of below freezing cold weather I am keeping my fingers crossed that the sunny days we've had recently are here to stay. We've been taking advantage of the nice weather with trips to the park - this weekend we had a picnic at Percy Warner park....where there was lots for Anna to explore....

Stairs to climb....not an easy task when you're holding the sticks you find along the way!

The sunny weather also means Anna likes wearing her sunglasses!

This weekend Anna discovered the fun of looking out the window and smashing her nose and lips against the glass...how can you not love that face!?
