We spent Memorial Day weekend with my Mom...we got to escape the cicada attack and the humidity of the south and enjoy sunny California! It was a great weekend filled with family and friends. My cousin Angela is staying with my Mom right now and she has a daughter that is only 7 months older than Anna. Natalie and Anna became fast friends and enjoyed playing together everyday. They played, they laughed, and just wanted to do whatever the other one was doing!
We took the girls to a local park where they enjoyed the slides...Anna has finally learned how to go down the slide and it has quickly turned into a favorite activity. The best part is everytime she goes down the slide she says, "Wheeeeeee!"

Then we were off to the Long Beach Aquarium where we touched some manta rays...
We also got to touch the sharks! Anna of course thought the touch tank was a pool and just wanted to jump right in! Luckily the sharks are harmless and Anna never took a swim with Jaws!
It was a great trip and Anna quickly became adjusted to the California lifestyle by wearing her shades indoors during dinner!
Anna is also starting to pose and smile for the camera...but when you point the camera at her she says cheese while making this face!!
