Torontonians flock to cottage country every summer....since we're having summer like weather we decided to see for ourselves what cottage country was all about! We headed up north to Gravenhurst and Lake Muskoka to have our great outdoor adventure!
We were greeted by Adirondack chairs everywhere we went!
The chairs are so comfortable that sometimes you couldn't help but fall asleep!
Our first day we went to a cranberry farm in Bala, Ontario - it's the cranberry capitol of Ontario!
This is what a cranberry farm looks like....the field of green is actually acres of cranberry bushes.
Fun facts at the farm
In the fall they flood the cranberry field to harvest the cranberries.
It doesn't look anything like the Ocean Spray commercial but it was still fun to see!
We saw some of the local waterfalls and hiked through the woods...
And no trip would be complete without a stop at the World's Largest Adirondack Chair!
