Skate and Snow

Last weekend we decided it was time to do what the locals do - ice skate! A couple of blocks from our house is a tennis court that the city floods in the winter and turns into an ice skating rink. So we grabbed our skates and took Anna for her first ice skating lesson! Good practice before her skating class tomorrow...
Safety first! A proper helmet is mandatory!
We went first thing in the morning and had the rink to ourselves....
The first thing Anna said was slippy! Her feet were a bit unsure but she had Daddy holding her the entire time.

We got our first significant snow today! Not a lot of snow but enough to make me unsure of driving Anna to music class and enough that I had to shovel off our porch, front steps and our driveway!
Anna loves the snow! All morning she kept asking to go outside and when we did go outside she kept yelling, "It's snowing!"
We tried to make snowballs and sometimes just sat in the snow....
We marched and ran through the snow....
And when Anna fell she realized it's also nice to just lay in the snow
Tomorrow might be the perfect day to use our new sled!
